In the ADAC GT Masters, they have gotten rid of the format where two rounds had 80-minute races with two pit stops. Every race will be 60 minutes in length now, but the pit stops will always include tire changes in 2027 and not just a change of driver.

Felix Hirsiger and Finn Zulauf were fastest in qualifying, before a DSQ for lifting the car in parc fermé sent them to the back for Race 2 at the Salzburgring. They overtook the 12 cars ahead and still won over Colin Bönighausen and Leo Pichler.

Liqui Moly Team Engstler swept qualifying of the ADAC GT Masters at the Salzburgring. Though they missed most of Race 1 yesterday, Felix Hirsiger has taken another pole for Race 2 with a 1:16.730, beating the Mustang of Kiano Blum by 0.314s.

Felix Hirsiger and Finn Zulauf were supposed to start from pole position, however they completely missed the start due to the Engstler Lamborghini running as a V9 rather than a V10. They finished 12 laps down and have lost the championship lead.

Kiano Blum and Niklas Kalus crossed the line in third to make it a double podium for Haupt Racing Team and the Ford Mustang. Early leaders Colin Bönighausen and Leo Pichler had to settle for the fourth spot with the razoon Porsche.

Leyton Fourie and Tim Zimmermann won Race 1 of the ADAC GT Masters at the Salzburgring. They gained six places by making their second stop the shorter one. The FK Performance duo then held off Fabian Dybionka and Emil Gjerdrum by 0.493 seconds.
