But on this day, by chance, I caught a bushy-tailed glimpse of a busy #Squirrel dashing over the Old Ground and up a tree. #Wildlife

St John's #Graveyard, #Marsden, opened 1849.
1700s #Pendle Valley was presided over by the Diocese Chester, 80m away.
Slowly evolving, the area was strongly nonconformist.
John Wesley, Benjamin Ingham and William Grimshaw all preached here.
