Full time 1-1. Late equalizer given up by Gotham will definitely frustrate them, but the point does lock in a top 4 spot and a home quarterfinal. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

1-1. Stoppage time equalizer for Angel City. Emily Sams makes a foray into the attacking third and finds Taylor Suarez with a good ball who is able to sneak one past AKB at the near post. Still plenty of time for either side to score the winner. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

5 minutes of stoppage time. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

First Gotham sub in the 88th minute sees Mandy Freeman replaced by Bruninha. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

1-0 to Gotham and it’s Jaedyn Shaw once again. Great wing play from Purce before a great through ball from her finds Lavelle. Her first time cross finds Shaw whose shot is too powerful for Anderson to stop and Gotham takes the lead. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

Definitely somewhat unexpected, but Ouahabi adds defensive depth to a team that really needs it and also gives them a true backup left back for the first time in a few years. #GothamFC #NWSL

Ouahabi will wear the number 4 and has signed a contract through the 2028 season. #GothamFC #NWSL

NEWS: After leaving Chicago Stars by mutual consent earlier today, defender Leila Ouahabi has signed with Gotham FC. #GothamFC #NWSL

Halftime, 0-0. A tough first 30 for Gotham eventually saw them look like the more dangerous side in the final 15 minutes. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

2 minutes of stoppage time. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

Golden opportunity for Angel City after a couple giveaways by Gotham sees Chilufya and Jonsdottir in on goal on a 2v1 but Chilufya misses the net with her shot. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

As I say that, O’Sullivan pounces on a loose ball and passes to a wide open Kerr, who somehow flubs the shot and can’t even hit the net. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

30 minutes in and not much to report. Angel City have looked like the more dangerous side, but only have one shot on goal. Meanwhile Gotham are playing some nice passing patterns, but haven’t produced much in the attacking third. #GothamFC #NWSL #GFCvLA

I finished work early and got ready to watch #GothamFC vs #AngelCityFC on #ABC but someone has made the brilliant decision to swap in an OJ Simpson special??? What have I done to you ABC?

Here’s this afternoon’s #GothamFC starting XI. One change as Mandy Freeman comes in for the injured Jordynn Dudley. I would also swap Purce and Freeman’s positions on the graph and that will more accurately represent how Gotham plans to lineup today. #NWSL
