@heatherewing.bsky.socialAlso, in addition to the wonderful slow living ethos, I read today that we import about 70% of our apples in the UK now. 70%! How wonderful to grow your own apples so you're not adding to those food miles.

@greenjimll.bsky.socialI keep my apples in one of the salad crisper drawers in the fridge. They can last in there for many months and are conveniently in the kitchen where the rest of the pie making ingredients and equipment are located. 😉😂
