National Watch CenterSituation:  Tropical Storm Isaias has formed and is expected to strengthen as it approaches the central Gulf Coast. The storm may impact portions of Regions 4 and 6 this 
weekend with rainfall, wind, and storm surge. FEMA Regions 4, 6, and FEMA Headquarters are preparing to support any required State-managed response activities.
Hazards:  
ā–ŖRainfall:  The system is expected to produce rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches 
through the weekend, locally up to 10 inches, across the central Gulf Coast. 
Flash and urban flooding, along with isolated river flooding, will be possible.
ā–ŖWind and Storm Surge:  There is an increasing risk of dangerous wind and 
storm surge impacts along portions of the northern Gulf Coast, and watches 
will likely be issued later today.
