#JustWatched what may be one of the greatest thrillers I've ever seen! #TheChinaSyndrome is a race against the clock, and the finish line is nuclear destruction. Are capitalist ghouls and bureaucratic tape conspiring to keep the public from knowing the truth?

Happy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! My prep for the upcoming school quarter continues with more martial arts films and conspiracy thrillers in this week's #LastFourWatched films. I also snuck in a goofy 2000s comedy and saw Pee-Wee in theaters!

#JustWatched I cannot believe I was the only person in the theater for this showing! Seeing #Pee-wee'sBigAdventure up on the big screen was truly a phenomenal experience. The set design alone is reason enough to see it on a big screen! So many details.

This was absolutely BRUTAL on my anxiety. I've watched a few older conspiracy paranoia films over the past few months, and they consistently impress me with how relevant they still are to today.

I doubt it is one I'll be itching to revisit, but I'm glad I gave it a watch! There were some great action sequences and some beautifully emotional close-up shots. Jet Li's acting debut!

LOVE. I felt like crap today and this definitely helped make my day a little better. The practical effects in this are so much fun, the romance is endearing, the comedy has great timing, and the fights are epic. Oh and there is a random musical break? 😍

After watching #BestLittleWhorehouseinTexas in theaters this past week, I just had to paint #PoppythePopcornDuck as #DollyParton. Getting the bust right was difficult though; I've never painted boobs on Poppy before!

Poppy is still mourning the death of #DollyParton and recently went to see #BestLittleWhorehouseinTexas in theaters. They really wanted to dress up as Dolly after...

Name your favorite film(s) of 2026 so far. 📽️🍿

My favorites are all things that just made me happy in that moment because life has been hard, and I needed a laugh. They may not be the best films I saw this year, but they are the films that made me smile most. 💛

Happy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! My #LastFourWatched are a mix of celebrating the #StarTrek anniversary, still mourning the death of #DollyParton musical style, and getting baited into a very depressing animated film by a cute poster.

#JustWatched It took me a while to decide, but I landed on #StarTrekTheMotionPicture. I hadn't seen this since I was a kid, and it was nice to revisit it! I actually really like how slow and quiet this one is. It makes sense based on the plot.

Oh man, getting to see this in theaters was an absolute treat! I already knew I loved this movie, but seeing it on the big screen really helped me appreciate all the details. The costuming, choreography, lighting, and more are all so well done.

Happy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! University starts back up at the end of the month, so my #LastFourWatched are mostly me getting hyped for my upcoming classes. I'll be taking a class on martial arts films and a class on conspiracy and paranoia in film.
