@gypsyeighteen.bsky.socialDark Shadows. From when I was 5-10, my mother used to sit me in front of the TV when it was on so I’d stay out of her hair so she could get her housework done (defrosting the freezer, mopping the floor, waxing the floor, buffing the floor) #DarkShadows #vampires #gothichorror tinyurl.com/3yuay3f5
@markbritt.bsky.socialI am rewatching #DarkShadows. I found it free on Prime, but it starts when Jonathan Frid begins as Barnabas Collins
As a little kid I would go to my friend Lisa's to watch it after school. I would have nightmares. My mother told me to stop watching it. I didn't. I also didn't stop playing Barbies
@welcometoyourdoom.bsky.socialOne of a number of toys and games I inherited from a much older sibling. Dark Shadows was off the air by the time I was forming permanent memories, so I had no idea what the show was, but I nevertheless played this regularly because of the spooky stuff.
@markbritt.bsky.socialI started watching #DarkShadows episodes.
As a kid I would go to my friend Lisa's home after school and we would watch them. I would have horrible nightmares. My mother told me to stop watching them. But I didn't. I also didn't listen to mother when she told me to stop playing w Barbies at Lisa's
@mendosa1111.bsky.socialI can just see David Collins hunting it down with a shot gun! I wouldn't have put up with a big bat attack either, but would have, instead, netted it. #DarkShadows
@krisevans.bsky.socialWatching this oldie from 1966 for spooktober and lovin the zingers. ⚰️🦇👻
#DarkShadows
@brandon4kuhd.bsky.socialICYMI I’m giving some thoughts on #darkshadows as I make my way through the Volume 1 Blu-ray that just came out - follow along and check it out. 2nd entry to drop soon!

@pieholepete.bsky.socialMore like... Dork Shadows, amirite??
JK I would sell my own parents into slavery to watch the remaining seasons if I had to.
@dughlas1.bsky.socialAs any fule kno, the greatest line in #DarkShadows is probably April 1968's "I was just noticing your harpoon collection."
@fitgeekuk.bsky.socialWatching my way through Hot in Cleveland and REALLY wishing that I could see the fake soap opera "Edge of Tomorrow" because with every new revelation about it, it sounds more and more like #DarkShadows!

@willmckinley.bsky.socialIt's not Halloween until Barnabas comes out of the coffin.
