@thewaywardabbey.bsky.socialJesus taught #hope & #forgiveness. So they are linked to the #cross. It is also linked to #faith and #redemption for these reasons. Jesus believed everyone was worthy of forgiveness and becoming part of the faith. Wearers are supposed to be reminded of these things in everyday life.
@thewaywardabbey.bsky.socialBecause #Jesus was unalived on the #cross it is linked to #transformation & #sacrifice. Transformation because He went from this life to the next on it & sacrifice for obvious reasons. #Christians are meant to be reminded of the suffering & pain He went through to save them.
@thewaywardabbey.bsky.socialThe #cross is the general #symbol of the #Christian faiths. For some it’s the more specific #crucifix but I digress. This symbol is believed to give one #divine #protection and #connection. Wearers simply feel closer to #God.
@thewaywardabbey.bsky.socialOne of the #charms that are available in my shop. You can request it on any item with a #charm.
.
Many believe it is #protective when worn and can give one #divine connection.
