@liddokun.bsky.socialIt's not all doom/gloom though, some US companies like #Tesla has switched to lithium ion phosphate batteries which uses no cobalt. Problem is DRC supplies 70% of global #cobalt and Chinese companies controls 15 of 17 mines so sourcing alt supply is hard. The #Philippines / #US also has some cobalt.
