Sketch vs. reality. 🐻
I started with a sketch, but the clay had other plans. This bear became shorter, rounder, and somehow got a striped sweater.
I love how sculpture can surprise you.

I still have no idea what happened here 🥲
One minute I had a cute little spotted dog, and the next… he was losing his spots right where the sun doesn’t shine.
Every little piece that fell off broke my heart a little more 😭💔

Sometimes I start with a simple shape and just see where it goes. This one turned into a strange little ceramic character. Handmade ceramic sculpture, original artwork and nature inspired art.

My First Raku Firing 🔥🖤
These little clay "paintings" were such a fun way to experiment with the process.
Which one is your favorite?

Shoutout to this extremely cheap CNC router that I was gifted forever ago and just now got working to its full potential

Gonna be getting into quite a few weeds with this thing 👀

Oops, forgot the cap! Fixing it next.

Hope it survives 😱 Stay tuned!

I love making strange little creatures inspired by nature. This one ended up with a big mushroom cap, a beard, and a personality of its own.
Handmade sculpture, mushroom art and original nature-inspired creations.

I made this little flower from natural clay, inspired by the quiet beauty of the forest. It's still unfired, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it changes after the kiln.

I tried.

A hand-crafted ceramic star pendant with a tiny "i tried" message and a black cord. Small, handmade, and slightly too relatable.

I finished the dragon ensemble that I’ll donate to friends of the library for their annual fundraiser. I created each art item -the quilt, pillow, and the dragon pottery (that I made from cone 6 clay, and fired in my kiln). #quiltsky, #ceramicart, #quilts, #handmadepottery .
