10: Inventory

Manafa always has her tonfa on hips. Her belt has potions for healing and such, and a few sneaky alchemical products like a smoke ball. She also always has extra water and hardtack on her, per years struggling to survive in the wild. That's before a pack is involved.

9: Themes & Symbolism

Manafa's story I want to write out is a tale of found family. How your weaknesses don't stop you in your pursuits - Manafa has troubles reading and alchemy ends up requiring a lot of that. How there's power in personal mastery, emotional and physical.

#bweirdOCtober

8: Relationships

Manafa crushes on the male lamia, who is incredibly close to Manafa. Datura and Manaswel are trusted friends. Manafa likes both Thomas and Belle, who tolerate and trust respectively. Gonna be honest, getting this worked out is new for me!

#bweirdOCtober

7: Backstory

The tl;dr for Manafa, she's from an island not widely visited, got exiled from her tribe and had to survive by herself for some years, was adopted by a fisherman, left that village as a young adult to go adventure, and becomes a renowned monster hunter turned alchemist.

6: Strengths + Weaknesses

Strengths? Martial arts, weapon-focused combat, wilderness survival, and monster hunting. Alchemy is a growing strength.

Weakness? Public speaking (rambly), reading and writing, the dark (fearful, manages well most times), strong awful smells

5: Personality

Manafa is hard to pin down... For an introvert like me. She's very loud, extroverted, and unless she's locked in she switches gears emotionally quickly and hard. Huge empath. She's a little dumb and she owns it, and she's largely joyful and beaming.

Development Week! #bweirdOCtober

Just doing a split to briefly explain how I will tackle this. For one, I'm gonna focus on Manafa. Primarily because I'm working on a short story for her so she's the blorbo in the brain. Not terribly much is new (to me) as a warning!

Moving on.

Day 10 of #OC-Tober and today's prompt is inventory!

Day 10: Inventory
Mary (JC/SH/Others): Well from nearly eight years of jump Mary's character sheet is overflowing. Some of the important stuff:
- Her handbag, which is basically a bag of holding that she got from her first jump (Quicksilver's Pokemon).

#bweirdOCtober day 11 - inspirations

who to do for each of this week's prompts have been suggested by the renewal discord server, but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't thrilled to be able to point out some details about storm hunter here that i didn't have an excuse to talk about before <3

OC-tober Day 10: Inventory

A bag of holding is pretty useful for a necromancer. If she can manage to get the bodies in it.
