Felt like a great team performance from #Boro today.

But Aidan Morris takes a 9. A 'covered every blade' performance. Harsh on Tommy Conway who would also be a very fair shout for MotM

Hellberg on Wolves win

🗣️ "It feels like a good win against a very good side, one of the favourites to win the division. Over 90 minutes, a fair result. I think we were the better team."

🔴 RATINGS: Lots of high marks for #Boro. Borges and Conway both excellent, with Lankshear making the difference once again. Made Morris the Man of the Match - thought he ran things against a strong Wolves midfield...

Happy 150th Birthday #Boro. Back in the top 2 automatic spots. Will Lankshear has already scored 9 goals this season. He managed to bag a total of 11 last season on-loan to Oxford. #UTB

The Tommy and Lanks show for the goal. Deceptively simple, but great skill all round. #UTB #Boro

Nowt wrong with that table considering there's still more to come from #Boro

Notable win against a good side. Could have been more, but it was never going to be easy.

Top play from Tommy for another Lanks goal. No complaints, and that anniversary shirt is cracking.

Celebrating the anniversary in style - that feels like a massive statement win for #Boro

FT: 1-0. A well deserved victory in #Boro150 milestone match. #Boro left hanging on anxiously in mandatory nervous last 10 but some slick spells of incisive football against a good side. Great pre-match display. Well worked goal. Up to 2nd. Good stuff. #UTB

FT: Middlesbrough 1 Wolves 0
Big win. Better side for an hour then defended well. Another Lankshear goal. Morris outstanding in midfield.

Aaaaand breathe. Important win today #boro

FT: #Boro get over the line. What a win!

Two subs combine to almost score with both their first touches as Arfsten whips in a corner and Joseph nods against the bar with the rebound sparking an almighty scramble. #UTB #Boro

Trippier getting roasted by the #Boro fans as he waits to take a corner. It is alleged he is "a dirty Geordie bastard" and "a shite Callum Brittain." I am always wary of taunting a player when it has the potential to bite you on the bum. #UTB

Excellent wriggle and delivery from Conway for the Lankshear header BTW. #Boro #UTB
