I still don't get the tropes thing in book marketing. I like dogs and motorcycles but telling me your book has both is not an automatic sale. Tell me the premise, what's at stake for the MC--stuff that matters. A book can include all the trendy tropes and still be a hot mess. #bookskychat #booksky
