Today's primary #BirdoftheDay theme is #BlueWater. Here is a double-crested cormorant from my local lagoon. I will never tire of their aquamarine colored eyes. #Birds #WaterWednesday #Nature #Photography

Still blue water fills the frame. On the right side, a cormorant's head and neck stick out of the water, and we see a little water ripple behind where the birds body is submerged. The bird looks up and out of the left uppemost corner of the frame. S/he features an orange bill and the aforementioned aquamarine eye when you look closely. The head and neck are otherwise between lead and brown in color.
