There are four geese in this photo. In the background-but in focus, center frame and center viewer's left are a pair of Blue-morph Snow Geese floating on the water. The center bird is facing the viewer, the bird on the left is facing forward but looking off to the left. In the foreground there is a pair of Canada Geese. Center right the goose is facing viewer's left but looking out at the Snow Geese. To the viewer's left is a sleeping/resting goose, body facing left, while their head is tucked back into their wings.

Happy #FeatheredFriday friends... (say that 3x fast 😂) today's #BirdOfTheDay theme, #Mouthful comes from June and is a little different in that, what's in these chick's mouths is their parent's beak. Love this triggers that fish retrieval system. #Birds #BirdingOH #Wildlife #Naturephotography #ECK

Center frame the parent Green Heron has their beak aimed downward, while tow of the chicks is biting the beak, which triggers the parent to upchuck a fish for the waiting chicks.
