@disburst.bsky.socialA prolific sculptural historian of black history, Acori's work attempts to fill the huge void in our society by recognizing those who long deserved to be memorialized in figural pieces.

@drunkendirewolf.bsky.social@acorihonzo.bsky.socialEric Orr created Rappin’ Max Robot in 1986, the first hip-hop comic book. Nearly 40 years later, we had the honor of bringing Max into physical form as an art figure. The first release sold out. Waitlist now open.link in bio @letsbeonyx

@disburst.bsky.socialAmazing project we worked on from concept to release finally landed a few weeks ago.
Eric Orr was great to work with and far too underappreciated given his side by side work with Haring. 🧵

@ferviddruid.bsky.socialHey furries and art lovers! I haven't had to ask for help in years, but here we are. I'm a black trans man and about to be homeless on the 15th, but I'll be offering emergency commissions shortly... Stay tuned 👀

@acorihonzo.bsky.social🧵As a Black creative, working on Rappin’ Max Robot means more to me than simply sculpting another figure.
Our first project featuring a character created by a Black artist has officially sold out, and I’ve been thinking about what that really means to me.
@disburst.bsky.social🧵 @acorihonzo.bsky.social & I are debating an acorn setup for what we are do @ letsbeonyx.com but also to provide a community nexus place for creative ppl we know irl & digitally.
