Taking the art block as a chance to work on simple things, and would you believe me if I said that Rocket has been tweaked again? I’m trying to further incorporate the fact that he’s a little person and he’s “chubby”. As a bonus, I added his mech, because why not.

#animatronic #oc #scifi #robot

A design sheet of Rocket, a sentient animatronic/robot of short stature with a chubby body type. He has short black hair, thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, big cartoony eyes with cameras for pupils and a warm beige latex mask (his “skin”). There are three variations in this piece: The first one shows him fully clothed, with his fashion consisting of an indigo and pink baseball cap, a black jacket with purple on the rim of the collar, white undershirt, light blue cuffed jeans, and indigo and pink gloves and shoes. These are definitely not his only clothing options, as part of his whole character is that he frequently changes what he wears depending on what he’s in the mood for, but that’s a topic for another day. Just know that what I have mentioned in many of his descriptions are his default clothes. The second one would be him without clothes. I’ve drawn him like this before, but some subtle changes were made. Now only his chest has an outer body shell, with almost everything else covered in fabric, except for the hands, which are bare mechanisms, and, of course, his head. The body’s colors remain the same, black with grey accents where underwear would be on a human. How this whole thing works I haven’t figured out yet, apart from the fact that these bots are a mix of hard components and soft ones. Speaking of which, the third design is just his mech. I don’t know how to describe it apart from being very similar to a human skeleton, but obviously a robot with animatronic components for the face. It’s not like the Terminator, for the record. Rocket doesn’t even have teeth. 😭 As mentioned in the post’s caption, I’m leaning further into the fact that he’s a little person, so I’ll specify that in his case, he’s disproportionately small, with with an average sized head and body and smaller than average limbs, except slightly exaggerated, since he was designed in the image of a cartoon character.

Meet Brink Knara, the coolest liquid metal bender you have ever seen! (Or, that what the Green Goose Company thought of her when they created her for the first time).

Good to see Sam's in the giant Halloween skeleton game. Maybe our 12-foot skeleton needs a buddy to hang out with...
