I saw this challenge, #Animatictober by @redletpuppet.bsky.social and decided to try at least storyboarding my favorite Halloween song: Monster by Or3o here's day 1 sketches of progress!

Day 3 of #animatictober
More sketches of the main cast. I love drawing facial expressions so much.

Animatictober Day 3: Make Characters

Time for the fun part of planning my cast of characters. Sam is the most important since she's going to be in basically every scene and is the main character. I definitely had the most fun exploring Kelly. #characterdesign #animatictober

Animatictober Day 3: Characters

Decided to do a timelapse today, so apologies for the presentation being wonky. Figured I'd give a look into my process for drawing the characters for this month.

So here are my thoughts and some sketches of what I think I could show
I reeaally got inspired by the hug Kurt shares with Mystique in Uncanny.

Day 1 of #animatictober
Meant to post this yesterday, day 2 was a lot of writing.
Gonna be doing “A Good Song Never Dies”
By saint motel, all these doodles were from me listening to the song on loop.

Animatictober Day 2:

Plan the Story. I popped the lyrics in a document and started plotting scenes. Some things will likely change along the way but i have a roadmap. I also included some sketches I did to think through some of the actions. #animatictober #sketches

have to stop here for the day; meal prep and whatnot for work this week. bundling days 2-5 because i'm not gonna have much time to do this. & i found another sketch floating around where i had sketched the intro so i cobbled the best of both on a cleaner storyboard.

Animatictober Day 2: Planning

Bit of a rushed video since work is killing me and there's too much to explain in too little time. I'll go more in depth in the upcoming days.

We also got a song picked out for #animatictober!!! Woooo!!
It's will be Sunlight by #Hozier
Recently fell in love with with the song and need to make an animatic to it

The last few years I've done Inktober but wanted to try something different instead. So here are my sketches from the first day of Animatictober! I've also never animated before so this'll be interesting. #art #drawing #sketch #illustration #Animatictober

Animatictober Day 1: Pick a Song. Been awhile since I participated in a proper October challenge. This year I decided to participate in redlet.puppet's (ig user) #Animatictober! I had 3 potential songs I was considering so I included all 3 sketch pages.
#sketchbook #brainstorm

I think we’re gonna go with Worms by Ashnikko. I think I can make it creepy enough to fit in with spooky season vibes and really it fits that apocalyptic ennui I can’t shake

I'm doing #Animatictober this year, so made a little promo!
