I built a limiter and clipper directly into Transient Shaper to control how boosted attacks are handled.

The limiter keeps the punch clean. The oversampled clipper adds warm saturation.

Taking way too long on this remix, but that's how they go for me. I like to have some sort of theme, and it can take a while to twist the original music to do what I want. Today's holdup was that I couldn't get a decent trumpet sound in #abletonLive, so I had to take the MIDI file into Logic Pro.

Simpler in Key automatically adjusts the pitch of the sample loaded into Simpler. This ensures that every new sample loaded will always be in the correct pitch.
