Misty Green tries to be so many things all at once, but because of this it's unable to explore any of those things with much depth. Providing only surface level commentary on topics it touches on.

If this film had stayed Misty focused throughout, I'd be much higher it.

Rosalind Eleazar is riveting as Misty Green & is the main reason to see Chris Rock's new film. She holds it all together with her performance.

Even with an incredible cast, the material & technical aspects in how the story is structured & delivered hold it back.

Peacock's Crystal Lake star Callum Vinson got a shot at the hockey mask (offscreen), though there will be a mask of some type this season. In addition, A24 Publishing has a novelization on the way. / #CrystalLake #Peacock #A24

A24 put Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in a wedding-week film where a friendly "worst thing you've ever done" icebreaker goes horribly wrong. Our reviewer's advice: skip the spoilers and brace for second-hand embarrassment.
