When I watched #TheMoonEmbracingtheSun many years ago, I actually dropped it once the kids were adults because it got boring for me. The kid actors in that drama were so damn good, and to see them them all as adult actors now doing so well makes me really happy. Like the FL in #100DaysofDeception

So there aren't any Japanese people in the cast line up because this era was during the occupation when Koreans were forced to adopt Japanese family names (some went with the Japanese pronounciation of the hanja) and forced to speak Japanese.

#100DaysofDeception is obviously connected to #MrSunshine. We just have to be mindful of the time period, though and we can add #Pachinko to the conversation, too. Mr. Sunshine covers 1902 to 1907, #Pachinko covers 1910s to like the 80s and this new one is set in 1932.
