Hellish midnight
nearly forgotten dreads emerge
crashing the dam of tension,
banshee's spectral shrieks
haunt the sinful and malefic mortals
crossing liminal passage
of infernal catacombs
who shunned the deathly knells
sounding memento mori.

Walking through the new haunted house gave them the creeps. Since the hallways had been converted into these strange liminal passages. The next turn they took was into a blood-filled room that made every cell in their body scream, “ RUN.”

Existential drift
sinking in a tea cup on my own
write a hundred books
nobody reads them
and there is nowhere

...snowflakes
Cover my branches

It was not my intent to drink his blood

Now I am incensed
At humanity's
Primeval chicanery
And atrocities

Wait until my roots are free...

Darkly luminous twilight
beguiling vampire
drunk on a delta of desires
wooing a naive belle
with his satanic splendor,
velvety cruelty oozes through
his sweetly venomous kisses,
eluding his bloodthirsty bite
is a fruitless pursuit.

Rough Neighborhood

The darkly luminous pulsing brain grew fangs attacked the teenage slumber party. They ran screaming into the street where the mad scientist werewolf slaughtered them. An amphibious humanoid creature crawled from the lake and blew up the houses.
