10. New Little King's Story (2012)

While not as beloved as the Wii entry, this sequel offers the same fun Pikmin-style gameplay as you build a village and withstand monster attacks. I think works really well as a handheld game, personally!

9. Frobisher Says! (2012)

Originally released as a cheap/free showcase for the Vita's functions, this one's an interesting little cartoony game in the vein of WarioWare with short, fun to play microgames that make use of the portable's various features.

8. Unit 13 (2012)

Probably the best military shooter on the Vita, Unit 13 was made by Zipper Interactive (of the SOCOM games) and offers short but fun missions where you try to stay stealthy to maximize your impact when guns start blazing!

7. Deception IV: The Nightmare Princess (2015)

Also available on PS4, but quite fun on the handheld, this sort-of tower defense cause and effect strategy game from the Kagero series has you plant traps around a castle to trap heroes who wander inside.

6. Soul Sacrifice (2013)

Whether you play this one or its 2014 revamp, Delta, the Soul Sacrifice games are fun! They're in the vein of Monster Hunter and have you take down some pretty big foes by sacrificing your own body parts to enhance your own powers
