【KAMIHITO Today's Word 2026.9.29】 ~ Enjoying the Setting Called "Now" ~ Within the environment and conditions we are given "now," how much can we accomplish? Exploring those possibilities from many angles may well be the challenge of "now" that has been given to us. It is just like enjoying "how we can use our ingenuity to make a delicious meal," using only limited ingredients and cookware, and the environment at hand. In an environment where everything is provided and we are blessed with more than enough, new ideas and creative ingenuity are, on the contrary, less likely to arise. Rather, precisely because there are constraints that leave us a little short, we mobilize all our wisdom, asking, "How can we make up for it, and how can we give it shape?" This, too, becomes an irreplaceable opportunity for learning. Whatever the conditions may be, let us enjoy the "now" of each moment. However, there are infinite ways of perceiving that truth. Depending on how we receive an event we have experienced and how we express it, the way it is conveyed to those around us changes into something completely different. Therefore, even if people experience the very same event, the impressions they form will inevitably differ because of differences in their individual perspectives and ways of expressing themselves. Furthermore, even for the same person, their impressions and ways of receiving an experience will naturally change depending on when they experience it and on their physical and mental condition at that particular time. That is precisely why it may also be said that the whole picture of truth cannot truly be understood unless diverse people continue accumulating experiences over a long period of time in various conditions. Every life exists carrying its own values. Therefore, if everyone insists only on their own values and confronts one another over good and evil, or superiority and inferiority, it is only natural that conflicts and friction will arise. By learning from early childhood “how to set healthy boundaries” that enable us to acknowledge one another with the understanding that “everyone is fine just as they are,” might we not be able to deepen our understanding of beings different from ourselves, and build a new earthly society where we can share “the art of truly coexisting and living together”? 【KAMIHITO Today's Word 2026.9.24】 ~ The Trap of Values ~ The “values” people hold are, for the most part, probably formed within the scope of their own experiences. When it comes to things they have never experienced, they tend to find it difficult to readily accept them and are apt to make negative judgments. Feeling anxious or fearful and becoming skeptical about unknown territory is also an extremely natural human reaction. An opportunity to move closer to new values arises when one has curiosity and a spirit of inquiry; without them, one falls into the same pattern of behavior as avoiding foods one has never tasted and continuing to choose only familiar foods. Moreover, if false information had been deliberately implanted beforehand, one would come to see that subject only through negatively tinted glasses from the very start. In the real world, I cannot help but feel that far too many such cunning traps have been set all around us. This is because it is convinced that it alone is genuine and has become overconfident. In other words, this is nothing other than a state of lacking the eyes to discern what truly has value. Or, because its own falseness would be exposed if it did not fiercely deny what is genuine, it schemes and plots behind the scenes. “Evil” refers precisely to such an existence. For example: “The other person is at fault!” “I am at fault!” “No one understands me!” “I am all alone!” “I can never be happy!” “I am not fortunate!” “Even if I go on living, nothing good ever happens!” …… Could most of these be assumptions that you yourself have created? Could they be a kind of delusional tendency, meant to draw the attention of those around you and direct it toward yourself? There is no need to be bound by your past habits of thought. Your future will surely improve. Wonderful, good encounters are waiting for you. For you will become happier and happier from now on. Perhaps people are divided into those who truly understand this and those who do not, depending on whether they have personally experienced being burned. Those who know the pain of a burn firsthand will surely handle fire with the utmost care and face it with respect. However, those who have never experienced its pain may fearlessly engage in reckless play with fire. Moreover, even if someone understands how hot fire is as a matter of knowledge, if they become overconfident, thinking, “I alone will be safe,” and forget their awe and caution toward fire, they will eventually suffer a severe burn that cannot be undone. Because you have done it thoroughly and feel content, because your daily life has become repetitive and you have grown tired of it, because you actually tried it and found it was different from what you had imagined, because it has gradually begun to diverge from what you truly desire, because discord and conflict have arisen within your relationships, …… The reason can be anything at all. 【KAMIHITO Today’s Word 2026.9.14】 ~ What Miroku Bosatsu Is ~ If you live as a good person for the sake of the world and its people, you yourself are a “Bosatsu.” It is not an unreachable, imaginary being that we keep praying to forever while relying on the power of others. It is your own “guideline for how to live.” 666 = six six six = three sixes = MIROKU Miroku Bosatsu has long been regarded as the Buddha who appears in the Latter Day of the Law. Concerned about this world, where injustice and evil deeds run rampant because of evil that disguises itself as KAMI and Buddhas and wears the mask of goodness, the people who truly rise up and live for the sake of the world and its people, in order to accomplish the rebuilding and restoration of the world—I think that such people are the true form of Miroku Bosatsu. And everything continues to remain in the memories of the category “you.” What did you think, what did you choose, what did you say, what did you do ……?! All the memories of this life are also recorded and stored in the cloud of the other-dimensional world, and after you die, you will be made to watch them again. How will “you” live in this life? 【KAMIHITO Today’s Word 2026.9.12】 ~ Criteria for Discernment ~ Are they truly serious? Are they genuine? Are they sincere?…… The way to discern this is simple: Just check whether they continue to take action, whether they keep going, and whether they produce results. Those who are all talk, those who act on impulse and only for a moment, those who merely pretend to be good—such people do not take action, do not keep going, and do not produce results. Conversely, whether you are truly serious, genuine, or sincere—you continue to be seen by those around you according to those same criteria. 【KAMIHITO Today’s Word 2026.9.11】 ~ The Kindling That Brings Things into Manifestation ~ Rain is something that “falls,” but when people’s hearts become captive to evil and grow arrogant, perhaps it changes into something they “cause to fall.” That is a metaphor, and yet it is by no means merely a metaphor. What is being questioned in modern society is the hearts of the people living on this earth. The human heart is a world where emotions constantly clash in the space between good and evil, and continue to be mixed together, and it is the kindling that manifests all phenomena. Therefore, by looking at the present, we can understand the hearts of the past. In order to make things better, we are perhaps called upon to reflect on what we should do with our present hearts, and to wish for the future. Others are mirrors that reflect your own heart, and through them, you may also be taught about that cause and effect. No matter how far you go, in this world and in the world beyond, it is always the “mechanism by which like wavelengths resonate with one another.” Therefore, you may be complaining about yourself.
