@allflicker.bsky.socialWhen Cher did the bed of snakes scene she asked “which one is Jon Peters?”
@allflicker.bsky.socialI don’t think aging badly is Susan Sarandon‘s problem
There are actually several other adaptations of #TheWitchesOfEastwick out there, seemingly drawing more from the movie than the novel. In 2000 it was the basis for a West End mega-musical in London that ran 17 months. #FlicksForAll
@allflicker.bsky.socialFunerals make Daryl super horny. As do weddings and bat mitzvahs and monster truck rallies and…
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyOh no, not Veronica Cartright! She looked really good in this too, like a really sexy strict uptight school teacher.
@allflicker.bsky.social@allflicker.bsky.socialTheir poop is is gonna look like they’re shitting blood for the next two weeks
@allflicker.bsky.socialI hope you all made room for cherries
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyDidn't they specifically ask for a nice ass? How'd they get Jack Nicholson?
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyThis is me, watching these 3 cute 30 something year old glammed-down women drinking at Cher's house, and absolutely not believing any of these 3 couldn't get laid if they wanted to.
@allflicker.bsky.socialnow why did Mr. Holland never try fucking the devil?
@allflicker.bsky.socialI’d go to church if stuff like this happened
@allflicker.bsky.socialI don’t trust him to turn that video camcorder off when he says he does
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyI just started. Susan's gonna kill Walter I gather? And the whole movie is about how they get the Devil's help to cover up the murder?
@allflicker.bsky.socialAm I stupid or is none of this making any sense?
I can’t remember if I thought it made sense when I was a kid.
@allflicker.bsky.socialI shudder to think what he did to poor Tim Burton on Batman
@allflicker.bsky.socialI don’t think I’ve ever seen this movie in wide screen before!
you can see the whole tennis court!
@allflicker.bsky.socialI’m not even sure what younger audiences might think about the sexual politics of this movie.
Well, what we have here is Susan Sarandon being one of several souls seduced by an amorous otherworldly being who lives in a mansion, "a hunting lodge for rich weirdos" you might say, with curious household staff, Peters couldn't help drawing certain conclusions! #FlicksForAll #TheWitchesOfEastwick
