Blitzø barely holding himself together, rage and hurt in every wrinkle of his face: "I sure did say that. That is a thing I said." Stolas took his words out of context. Blitzø feels betrayed, and like he is losing control. But he cannot say more, because he knows it is unfair to try to control Stolas. He is not the Boss outside of the office. But he had thought that Stolas wouldn't do anything this insensitive.Stolas's look of utter confusion, hurt, and betrayal as Blitzø yells at him to go have fun fucking another guy. Stolas is depressed, touch-starved and traumatized; BDSM is helping him regulate. The arrangements are impersonal. He did not mean to hurt Blitzø. Stolas thought Blitzø understood he needed an outlet. That Blitzø would judge or try to control his choices hurts. But realizing that his choices once again hurt someone he loves ALSO hurts. Stolas is dismayed that Blitzø cannot see that this is not fun, it's extremely painful and tough to navigate.

Stolitz plot is heavy on the "miscommunication" trope but i think the show does EXCEPTIONALLY well justifying *why* they arent able to communicate/articulate their feelings to each other, which makes a world of difference contrasted to characters just refusing to talk for seemingly no reason
