@warlord-phobos.bsky.socialToday's #MODtober throwback is a viking/folk vibed tracked metal tune I wrote back in November 2000:
"Warlord - Through The Frozen Woods (2000, .xm / FastTracker 2)" 🧊❄️🌲🎶 | www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_n_... #trackermodule #trackedmusic #fasttracker2 #trackedmetal #trackedmetalscene
@andylemon.bsky.socialTonight's #MODtober = my little #chiptune cover of Run to the Hills / Iron Maiden from Insane, Uprough + Titan's awesome #Amiga Musicdisk - Stuck Somewhere in Time - which I did in the style of a NES shmup :D #demoscene
@48kram.bsky.socialA remix today for #MODtober day 7 - AceMan's excellent remix of Jazzcat's Decrunch 2022-winning MOD "Robotized". Played, today, in ProTracker 2 clone on Linux.

@warlord-phobos.bsky.social#MODtober thrownback tune of the day: "Warlord - Starlight (2013, .it / 24kb Impulse Tracker module)" 🌠 | www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO57... #trackermodule #trackedmusic #OpenMPT #ImpulseTracker #BattleOfTheBits
@48kram.bsky.social#MODtober Day 6 - Back on the PC today with Libertine by Zodiak. From Cascada's 1993 demo Hex Appeal. The tune is, IMO, better than the demo, but as an early PC prod it's still worth watching. Played on AWEMP, a hardware MOD player for the Sound Blaster AWE-32
@bgollie.bsky.socialLevel 2 set in a lush blue and calm setting filled with waterfalls and big open halls. Again, 3 tracks, 4th is kept for additional non essential echos & is disabled upon triggering a sound effect so the tune must hold up in 3 tracks.

@andylemon.bsky.socialTuesday's #MODtober post: a little #amiga #protracker #chiptune out the archives - this is leveraging distorted sinewaves and vol slides to create a fun effect in the backing... released at Sundown demoparty about 10yrs ago \o_
@48kram.bsky.social#MODtober Day 5: One of the first MOD tunes I ever downloaded - "Defloration" by Emax of TRSI. Simple dance tune - nothing too inspiring. Placed 18th 😱 at The Party '93 Amiga music compo. But I love it anyway and it's kinda become a bit of a classic.
@warlord-phobos.bsky.socialIn #MODtober mood, let's also re-share this Amiga .mod tune called "2400 Bauds (But A Parity Bit Ain't One)" I wrote a few weeks back for B40 Anniversary demoparty's music compo 🎶 soundcloud.com/armagon/warl... #chiptune #amiga #protracker #trackermodule #trackedmusic
@warlord-phobos.bsky.social#MODtober throwback: "Warlord - Back In 1982" - a 4-channel .mod-format #chiptune I wrote back in 2006 for my "Chip 'till Burnout"-chiptune album" 🔥🎹Still continuing with that same theme nowadays😄🐒 | soundcloud.com/armagon/warl... #trackermodule #trackedmusic #protracker #amiga
@bgollie.bsky.socialUSAS Lvl 4 is set in deep mountain caves with a heavy, almost oppressing, theme.I kept the most of it unchanged and added breaks & extended parts.The real trick,as with all levels,was to only use 3 tracks as the 4th will be regularly taken over for sound effects & keep it,well,under 200kb
#MODtober
@bgollie.bsky.socialguess I should be adding the #MODtober tag to all this :)
@andylemon.bsky.socialMonday #MODtober post <3 this is a pretty ancient cover #chiptune I did of Dust in the Wind / Kansas out the archives <3 #demoscene #amiga
@48kram.bsky.social#MODtober Day 4: Remember those 3 weeks when games used tracker tunes for soundtracks? "Dimension 2012" by Necros. A Fasttracker (not FT2) tune using 8 channels. Used in the 1995 game "Crusader: No Remorse" from Origin but also in Digital Psychosis musicdisk. Played in TrackMeister
@andylemon.bsky.socialHappy Sunday :D here's today's #MODtober track out the archives, aptly called 'Jamming on Sunday' :D this one was done for Desire's Chip Chop <3 #amiga #demoscene #chiptune #protracker

@h0ffman.bsky.socialSo I uploaded to YouTube yesterday for #MODtober but forgot to post it, so expect another one late.
Where Did You Go - Where rave and cheese collide.
@48kram.bsky.socialDay 3 of #MODtober - more weird players, more odd tunes. Hunz on the track today with "Iron Curtain" from the Stage 9 musicdisk. Playing in FT2 clone by 8bitbubsy. You can always count on Hunz for good vocals on a tracker tune. Oh, and great tracking too. And atypical tracker styles.
@andylemon.bsky.socialHappy Saturday! Today's #MODtober archive post - an #amiga #protracker #chiptune by me from TTE's Amiga production Textual Healing 2 #demoscene <3
