Compose Multiplatform makes cross-platform development more interesting because teams can focus on product decisions instead of repeating implementation work. #ComposeMultiplatform #Kotlin #SoftwareDevelopment

For the proof-of-concept, I decided to build it using #Kotlin and Compose Multiplatform. This is mostly because I always wanted to try it and this seems like a great opportunity!

Good Kotlin developers do not just write shorter code. They create code that communicates intent clearly to the next person maintaining it. #Kotlin #CleanCode #SoftwareEngineering

Compose Multiplatform is changing how teams think about UI sharing. The goal is not sharing everything. The goal is reducing duplication while keeping great experiences everywhere. #ComposeMultiplatform #Kotlin #UI

Tests per hundred lines of Kotlin, by package, and I'd guessed the order wrong. The decode engine is densest and the screens thinnest. The Create screen from this morning's note sits near the bottom, which is where I'd been trusting my eyes. #Kotlin #AndroidDev

A horizontal bar chart titled Where the tests are, subtitled unit tests per hundred non-blank lines of Kotlin, by package, counted on the 1.0.9 source tree. Nine teal bars from longest to shortest: engine 8.0 (875 tests, 10,913 lines), data 7.1, encode 6.0, engine/lookup 5.5, ui/common 4.1, ui/scan 4.0 (618 tests, 15,609 lines), ui/history 3.2, ui/create 2.6, ui/settings 2.2 (39 tests, 1,777 lines). A footnote names the test and main trees and the 1,500-line cut.
