"On the Hunt"

Insurrectionists spot a Spartan on their cameras as she hunts them down, one by one.

#halospotlight #halo #blender

The image is a POV shot from a CCTV camera. The view is from camera 15, it is actively recording, and the time is 23:51:24:17. The camera is capturing Spartan Ash kneeling down in a hallway, shining a blacklight on the floor and revealing a pair of boot prints on the ground. The hallway is cluttered with objects like loose wiring, a pile of sandbags, a stolen UNSC armor locker and other miscellaneous junk. On the right hand wall, 'FUCK THE UNSC' can be seen sprayed in red paint, a UNSC logo has similarly been spray painted over with an X in the same red paint, and a symbol for the insurrectionists has been painted on a panel further down.

The IsoCovenant! I always thought Dural 'Mdama was too good of a character to do nothing with, and I always thought that Covenant remnants should be more like Neo Zeon from Gundam, so here's the logical conclusion of that.
#Halo #HaloSpotlight #Sangheili

The faction image for the IsoCovenant, depicting the IsoDidact Glyph with the outer edges of the Mark of the Great Journey, an image of Sangheilios, an elite labeled "SANGHEILI PALADIN," and a skirmisher labeled "KIG-YAR MISSIONARY." the image is against a purple background of a war torn region of Sangheilios, and has the following text. "The IsoCovenant are by far the largest, most militant, and best organized Covenant remnant group in the modern Milky Way Galaxy, vastly eclipsing the scattered splinters of the Banished formed in the wake of the Endless War, as well as any San'Shyuum loyalist groups. Led by Dural 'Mdama, the IsoCovenant differs from original Covenant doctrine in many key ways, deeming the San'Shyuum as false prophets and heretics, considering 'Reclaimers' (humans) to be destined to fire the rings, made sinners only by their refusal to do so, and considering Jiralhanae to be barbaric by nature and unable to walk the path of the Great Journey. The core tenet of IsoCovenant religion beyond all else is a deep reverence for the works and legacy of the IsoDidact, a Forerunner whom Dural 'Mdama and his followers believe will someday return to complete the Great Journey and put an end to the sinful ways of the Reclaimers. The IsoCovenant is considered by the RSC to be the second greatest threat to galactic unity, closely following behind ONI. Ironically, the IsoCovenant often find themselves in open conflict with ONI, despite their primary enemies being the Swords of Sangheilios, led by Thel 'Vadam, who Dural 'Mdama has described as an "Arbiter perhaps beyond saving.""

"Send Me An Angel"

Nothing can beat the guy who saved this ODST's rear-end from spiraling off into the void!
Only that it's THAT guy, THAT one Swords Ranger, they sure know each other

( #sangheili #human #halo #halospotlight #elite #odst #blender #romance #space )

A scene set in space, a sangheili ranger floats with their jetpack active, they seem to be holding an ODST who's helmeted head is resting against the ranger's. Background shows ship debris, a destroyed paris class and a 'covenant' corvette, with a spirit dropship destroyed as well. In the far back the planet below is currently only starting to be lit by a rising sun that's obscured by the planet itself, there seems to be active engagements too with frigates firing upon enemy aircrafts. A ODP is also in the process of blowing up in one of the three cluster formations of 4 ODP clusters visible. The Planet has two moons visible above it, one bigger, the smaller one behind the larger moon.

A faction profile for ONI, depicting the ONI logo, a heavily censored planet, a marine in Halo 4's ONI Security armor, and Naomi 010, all against a black and white image of an ONI site. The profile itself is also colorless, and has enough corruption and artifacting to be difficult to read.

[REDACTED]

Ori and Wei fight off an air assault as they are accompanied by ODSTs.

#halospotlight #halo #blender

First time trying the compositor in Blender for more major changes, and what a difference it makes! Couldn't quite get it just how I wanted, but I am going to revist once I learn more!

The image is mainly taken up by a Pelican drop ship. The back is open and two Spartans and an ODST can be seen shooting out the back. Ori on the left is firing his Spartan Laser and its red beam is flying just to the left of the camera. In the background a few blue explosions can be seen, one with the wreckage of a Banshee starting to fall out of the sky. A Falcon is escorting the Pelican, in which another ODST is manning the side mounted chain gun. Several tall buildings can be seen in the distance indicating they are in some kind of urban environment and the nose of a UNSC frigate can be seen just poking into frame on the left.

I really need to revisit my Alphonse Mucha pieces. These were a lot of fun to make!

Since Halo is in a state of flux at best, I've been thinking about my old story, HALO: CHILDREN OF SIN, and decided to revive it with a new coat of paint, now taking place in 2577 rather than 2560. Here's a mockup faction profile for our main boys in blue.
#HALO #HaloSpotlight #UNSC

A faction image for the Reformed Space Command, the primary perspective faction of my in progress Halo sequel series, HALO: CHILDREN OF SIN. The image depicts the RSC logo, a white and blue reclaimer Glyph with RSC written in the middle, above an image of the planet Earth. Next to it is an image of a marine (taken from Halo Legends) captioned "RSC MARINE CORPS" along with an image of a soldier resembling an ODST (taken from Halo 3 concept art by Isaac Hannaford) captioned "VACUUM SHOCK TROOPERS." next to both of them is a quote reading "Founded in 2570, following the end of the Endless War and Fall of the UNSC, the Reformed Space Command are the largest and most notable military faction within the Milky Way Galaxy, formed from a mix of UNSC remnants, civilian militias, and corporate contractors. In the present of 2577, the RSC have reached a similarly regimented and organized status to the original UNSC, but notably remain primarily focused on their founding tenant of deploying only in the event of existential threats to humanity. While they are relatively similar to their predecessor faction in both armaments and organization, they do differ in several key ways, including their heavy use of reverse engineered Forerunner and Ancestor technology, reliance on unmanned weapons and combat drones, and their general lack of reliance on posthuman supersoldiers such as the Spartans." All of this is depicted against a blue background of the city of New Phoenix from Halo 4
