You’re allowed to be excited about your future.
New experiences do not erase old love.
New joy does not disrespect old memories.
There is still life ahead.

But it does not have to become your identity.
At some point, the question can change from:
“How do I get through this?”
to:
“What do I want to do with the life I still have?”
That is grieving forward.
