@morellarecords.bsky.socialWe've been hand-building physical recreations of the actual periodicals Poe's stories first appeared in. Part label, part paper conservation. #Semprevive #GIO #MorellaRecords #Poe
@morellarecords.bsky.socialWhich Poe story should GIO tackle next, after Semprevive? Tell us below.
@morellarecords.bsky.social"Madeline" is out now, with a video. Every dollar it earns goes to Poe Baltimore, protecting the real Poe House during construction next door. Stream it, watch it, help keep the house standing.

@morellarecords.bsky.social"She clawed the dark until it gave / The brother fell, the water took him / The house is a grave." Madeline, out September 15. Three days. All proceeds to Poe Baltimore.
@morellarecords.bsky.socialMadeline's verses hold one chord, drone against drone. The chorus is the only place it breaks. Four days out.
@morellarecords.bsky.socialEvery Semprevive track is mixed and mastered by Blake alone. One pair of ears, eight completely different sonic worlds. #Semprevive #GIO #MorellaRecords #BehindTheScenes
@morellarecords.bsky.socialOur label is named after a Poe story. Now GIO's new album is built entirely around Poe's women. It was always going to come back to this. #Semprevive #GIO #MorellaRecords #GothicRock #Poe
@morellarecords.bsky.socialGIO lived next door to Poe in Baltimore, close enough to hear him working through the wall. Madeline came from that. Out September 15.
