Perfect for reading on half a brain. Chaos, banter and zombies, with found family underneath. They'd save each other at any cost, but gleefully watch each other catch a bloody nose first. It asks nothing of you except to enjoy the ride.

A standalone LitRPG, a trickster god and a properly murderous ghost. Fun all the way, until the big showdown fizzles and the tension deflates in an instant. Still a book I enjoyed, just one that left an aftertaste it didn't need to.

The series has always been warm and cosy. This one hurts. It lets you settle in, then pulls the rug out and keeps pulling, until it feels like your soul is being dragged out through your belly button. Worth every tear.

Drops you straight into the wreckage and dares you to keep up. Frenetic, foul-mouthed and mean, led by a hired gun who is no hero and no villain either. The kind of bastard you end up rooting for anyway.
@kitvaria.bsky.socialLet it slide I did - let's play catch up!
Book #56
The war goes underground. Cramped in the dark, explosions muffled, strangely sheltered, until she brings the war down with her. A digger is a digger, whichever side of the line he works for.
@mrtimnewman.bsky.socialHave you tried #FantasyFaction? The Facebook group particularly good, but I think the forums are still active. And bsky but I'm not sure it's got much traction on here yet. Good luck!
