Behold: A SKELETON! In a thematic sense.

The skeleton seems weak at a glance, but it can shoot twice in one turn with its arm buster and skull buster, and if it's reduced to zero HP by an attack, it instead sacrifices its skull buster to keep fighting just a little longer.

I might have jumped the gun introducing the Manticore the other day, because while that was the first boss i drew, the Ogre is sort of meant to be a player's first actual boss. It's as straightforward as it gets! A heavily-armored foe that bashes your head in with a big club.

This is the Manticore, the first proper boss maraudrone! It's got a LOT of missiles, and even a pair of eyes to boot!

The problem with Maraudrones is that they're stupid. They're made to be stupid robots that don't disobey orders. But they weren't always made that way. The Knight was a semi-autonomous drone made to behave intelligently in combat, but often developed some troublesome quirks.

Yes, cryptids count as fantasy monsters! While it may look like simply a savage brute, the sasquatch is a cunning foe as well, as it can turn invisible and uses this to retreat from combat after landing sneak attacks on intruders.

The Vampire is a tricky one! One of the few maraudrones advanced enough to issue nanotech mandates, it supplements this ability by stealing the NP and HP of its foes using its mosquito drones! Not quite a heavy-hitter, but it can certainly be a pain in the neck!! #doodles #enemies

Most sentries are weak, energy-efficient robots capable of killing rats and other vermin that dig into their facilities but little else. Not so the minotaur, a fuel-hungry titan that can be heard a mile away, always on the prowl for intruders. Damn near unkillable, though!
