@bitprophet.social.coop.ap.brid.gyStill early in my #DigitalOcean replacement research but so far, getting decently strong signal about Mythic Beasts from multiple sources: https://www.mythic-beasts.com/
Would be very funny to end up in another British Commonwealth host, my first VPS-as-opposed-to-shared-hosting host ever was […]
@bitprophet.social.coop.ap.brid.gyCollating some recently inbox'd "migrate off of #DigitalOcean as they are now both incompetent /and fascist/" resources, and it's extremely funny to see folks mention that #Hetzner, one of the bigger "small and/or non-US-based" VPS hosts, SIMULTANEOUSLY:

@bryan.dusty.ninja.ap.brid.gyThis review of OpenRouter.ai is pretty amazing. So many providers seem to be extremely sloppy/bad or just outright fraud? It's interesting I see #DigitalOcean in the mix and they are consistently serving up garbage results! #LLM #OpenRouter #AI […]
@djoerd.idf.social.ap.brid.gyBye, bye #DigitalOcean

Not linking to fascist Arch Linux (Farch? O-Fashy? ) website announcement.
@rwg.aoir.social.ap.brid.gyI *think* I may have just migrated completely away from #DigitalOcean. Amazing what one can do when one is motivated.

@tky.ioOof. #DigitalOcean joins #1Password to fund DHH’s #Omarchy . So much more deserving software out there to fund without the reputational stain. What a shame.
