Yeah, what happen to Kazumi does count...but the rest? She's still a model, the demon attacks aren't frequent enough that she can't have a social life. Maybe it's too early, but we have yet to see one side impact the other outside of Kazumi's family. #DevilmanLady

Jun exposits on what's been going on in her life, namely all the times she's been sick, home issues, and how all of this is causing everything to fall apart around her!

And by one side of the duality, I mean we haven't seen Jun as a human cut loose like she did as a human with tha tone guy, not when she's a demon. #DevilmanLady

It looks like the hospital stay is NOT voluntary as they have a camera in there and locked her inside as she cries she doesn't wanna be a monster. Honestly, we're only getting ONE side of the duality, we haven't seen Jun cut loose since that one guy. #DevilmanLady

We open in the exact aftermath of Jun's fight and the press are coming...just in time for Jun to faint in mid-air before they could record ANYTHING, thus she wakes up sometime later in a hospital.

Easy, just write off as a massive hangover. #DevilmanLady

Up next, what to do with Kazumi? "Seed." #DevilmanLady

Those moments where Kazumi and her parents were some of the more disturbing moments in horror anime, Go Nagai material or not, and were animated almost perfectly. #DevilmanLady

And while there's still spots that maybe the animation should've had a second go, there's more moments where I have to remind myself it's a TV show. The typical horror atmosphere of a Go Nagai horror story carry on that well despite the limitations of TV. #DevilmanLady

The team behind the TV show, headed by Toshiki Hirano with writing by Chiaki J. Konaka, have a way to make this feel like the previous Go Nagai OVAs that we've either seen (New Cutie Honey) or at least heard about (Never saw the original Devil Man) while on a TV budget and limit. #DevilmanLady

Jun kills the demon after growing wings...I don't think the spotlight is gonna do that whole "Cover up" thing, HA...and Jun is left wondering what to do with Kazumi... #DevilmanLady

Turns out the rat was a minion of the demon that actually did kill Kazumi's family and it says, yep, they did it for revenge on Jun. HA shows up and are still trying to do the whole cover up thing...as the demon lift's Jun in front of the moon over suburbia... #DevilmanLady

The devil beast in question is a giant rat that...looks like a zombie is riding as if it's a horse...

Do these zombies either pilot the things or boost powers? #DevilmanLady

This is what I meant earlier, for every moment where the animation could've used another pass, there's moments where it's so perfect, you forget this is a TV anime, budget and content. I kinda wish it was an OVA, imagine how far this would've gone. #DevilmanLady

Kazumi's done with her bath and is about to go up the stairs, when she senses something...goes up the stairs anyway.

I can't tell if it's a trance or not. Yeah...there's moments where the animation could've used another round of baking.

Yeah, the dark foreboeding scenes in Kazumi's house. The building tension...THIS will not end well.
