My biggest mistake? Believing perfect first. 😅
I’d wait months.
Then I shipped ugly V1s. They broke, got ignored, but I learned SO much.
That raw feedback? Gold. 💰
Spend 20 mins: tweak your landing page copy, then deploy it.
Ship something. Today.

A recent review said the widgets fade into the wallpaper. That took a nudge from a user: a transparent widget used to keep its day cells as solid blocks. Since 1.5 they let the background through.
Ho pubblicato una nuova guida: SPF, DKIM e DMARC con Microsoft, passo passo. Tre sigle che sembrano un trio musicale: io almeno ho provato a farle andare a tempo.
Kept waiting for the product to be ready.
Then I realized: ready is a feeling, not a fact. My first users didn't need perfect. They needed useful.
Shipped imperfect. Learned fast.
I stopped checking competitors.
Every hour I spent comparing, I could've spent talking to one user.
They're not racing me. I'm not racing them. We're solving different problems for different people.
Slow growth feels like failure.
But every user I have now came from a conversation, not a campaign.
Small and real beats big and empty.
Building alone is quiet.
No meetings. No feedback. Just you and the problem.
But the silence is where clarity lives. I've shipped more in quiet weeks than loud ones.
I almost priced my product too low.
Cheap attracts people who don't care. Fair pricing attracts people who do.
Lowering the price isn't how you get users. Showing real value is.
I thought posting daily would bring users.
But a like is free. A signup costs trust.
So I stopped posting "look what I built" and started sharing problems I'm stuck on. The people who replied had those problems too.
I don't need everyone. Just the few who think "that's me."
Some days I ship a feature and wonder if anyone even noticed.
Other days a single customer message reminds me why I'm building.
Consistency is hard. But showing up, listening, and fixing real problems is the part that actually moves things forward.
Client-side rendering sends a small page and lets JavaScript build the UI.
Most content is rendered in the browser, not the server.
The benefit: fast navigation after load.
The tradeoff: users see little until JavaScript downloads and runs.

Posting daily ≠ growth. Building daily ≠ customers.
Consistency opens doors — but listening to users, improving your product & solving real problems keeps them open.
Don't confuse motion with momentum.
Two AI checks agreed on a book reference I had to reject. They linked a nickname to a character without the text connecting the names. For a spoiler-free app, that link can be the spoiler. I've added a check. This was a private research run, not a reader's answer. #BuildInPublic

Not all startup directories are created equal. Some have a DR of 90+ with millions of visitors, some are basically dead. Here's 136 of them sorted with traffic data. postyourstartup.co/directories
Lesson:
Most streaks don’t die from lack of motivation.
They die because there’s no simple reason to come back the next day.
Question:
What usually breaks your streak — forgetting, low motivation, or feeling the update isn’t good enough?

Every leg ends with a perk draft: three cards, you take one, it holds for the rest of the run. There are 16 in the pool and a run only hands out three, which is the thing I'm fixing next. #buildinpublic
Memory decay has proven itself stable, #LocalAI Blanche and Noir are properly assessing what memories go where.
So this week, I will try to refine their memory chunking🧠.
I hope it helps them keep better track of their own personal goals. Since it is the next nightmare I ignored.
Me, Monday morning: I will not touch the homepage.
Me, 9:15 am: What if the greeting was one line lower?
This is homepage redesign number 80. It was fine. It was always fine. I cannot stop. 🥴
