Garrett's travel guide:When people imagine being prepared for the forsaken lands they think of being well armed. Which is a good way to prepare, But I think most would be caught of guard by how cold it can get, especially at night

#Bugtober 2026: Days 3 and 4 - Honey/Ladybug

Staggering posts until I catch up. A comic and some art of Doppel are in this batch!

#bugfables #bugfablesfanart #bugfablesoc #art

A three panel comic featuring Pan, an anthro goldsmith beetle, and Apollyon, an anthro death’s-head hawkmoth.
In the first two panels, Pan is looking into the interior of a cabinet, the contents of which are silhouettes of containers in different colours. In panel one, Pan hums to himself with a focused expression.
In panel two, Pan turns away from the cabinet. As he does so, he calls out, “Polly? Have you seen the hon-“

The third panel has Pan fully turned away from the cabinet, cutting themself off as they look at Apollyon. Apollyon is blushing and has an embarrassed expression as it holds out a partially eaten drop of honey that’s starting to drip from its paw. Pan hesitates before responding, “Nevermind.” Pan looks slightly baffled but doesn’t seem bothered.

A digital artwork of Doppel, a ladybug disguised as a beetle, from Bug Fables. Doppel is at the counter of his bar, a garland of leaves behind him. One of his paws is on the countertop and the other is using a drink shaker to pour a blue liquid into a green cup with a straw in it. The background vaguely matches the cave-like look of the Underground Tavern location in-game.

Redraw and concept expansion of my Bug Fables Oc, Motley the Harlequin Beetle and her pet Isopod, Libra, that she can roll around like a balance ball. A pair of traveling entertainers.

G:"What do you mean"
H:"You live in the wild swamplands don't you, where did you get a rare collectors item like that? Seems like an interesting story"

#Bugtober 2026: Days 1 and 2 - Autumn/Storm

Two cozy pieces to start out this year’s Bugtober!

#bugfables #bugfablesfanart #bugfablesoc #art

A digital artwork of Apollyon, an anthro death’s-head hawkmoth, looking tranquil as they hold onto a cup of coffee with both hands. The artwork is warmly lit, and the background is an abstract autumn scene that has a white vignette at the top corners of the image.

A digital artwork of Kabbu, an anthro green scarab beetle from Bug Fables, holding an umbrella as it rains. The foreground is framed with blades of grass and two flowers growing on the ground. Kabbu is in the midground, protected from the rain by the leaf he’s using as an umbrella. He has a happy expression as he looks up to look at the rain.
The background is slightly hazy and is made up of much taller blades of grass curling up into a stormy grey sky.

Benny was brought on as a subject matter expert for the redesign of the B-33 Drone. while there he picked up a taste for honey toast, despite being cheap in most of Bugaria honey is rare in the Termite Capital due to dangerous roads

Random Bug Fables Oc Idea I had for a while that I finally was able to draw. A Harlequin Beetle and their pet Isopod that they roll around on like a ball.

Bugtober Prompt 2: Storm
I struggled way too much on this one, so instead of what I did yesterday, I did something more familiar to me. I made an lightning centipede based off the Geophilus Electricus. Way smaller and less dangerous then the centipede seen in the actual game.

#bugtober #bugfablesoc

A centipede like creature, with pylon-like horns, glowing eyes and tail, and a light blue underbelly with earthen colored shells.

Captains log: A fierce storm has rolled in but we have to stay moored or we'll never find this spot again. They're offering too many berries to miss out on, we need to get that treasure.
