I got to loop Coveted Jewel with Displacer Kitten until I found my time walk. Just Vintage Cube things. #wotcstaff

Like it's actually super cool thinking of early versions of the Proliferate Cube and what I did then, compared to now, and what I look back on and think was clever vs what is pretty cringe to my tastes today.

Once again, Magic is the best to ever do it.

Did a huge update to the Proliferate Cube with #MTGFRA. Lots of cool stuff this year, ECL's new -1/-1 counter stuff; TMT's green artifacts+mutagen; TLA w/a ton of cool blue stuff. Excited to try Empower Jace in small doses too! Magic rules.

I'll post some more when I feel like it. Probably next week sometime. Excited to watch early access and see what people start doing! #wotcstaff

Alright, full FRA spoiler is out so it's time to deliver on some inside stories from design. I was on the Set Design team for a long time, but I was also the lead Limited Developer for FRA, so today I wanted to talk a little bit about some commons and uncommons! #wotcstaff

This week's second "Drive to Work" podcast (#1382) is a new series called "What Went Wrong?" where I examine things that went poorly. I begin with March of the Machine Aftermath boosters: share.transistor.fm/s/fe03abb5 audio.transistor.fm/m/shows/2145... #mtgdtw #WotCStaff

Today's #mtgtrivia question:

Back in the days of blocks, I very seldomly led the design for the second set of the block. Why did I do it for Innistrad block?

Answer to yesterday's #mtgtrivia question:

Fateful Hour.

I loved the moments between Vraska and Liliana after Jace's death. The recognition of shared grief. The solidarity between two women who generally despised each other. Its rare to get women supporting each other in media and I'm sad I couldn't fit it on a card. Thank you for capturing it. #wotcstaff

Today's #mtgtrivia question:

What Dark Ascension mechanic made my Top 20 Worst Mechanics of All Time talk?

#WotCStaff

Answer to yesterday's #mtgtrivia question:

She got sucked into the Helvault when she put Griselbrand into it.

In Dark Ascension, we learn why Avacyn is missing (and thus why the fate of the Humans is so dire)? What happened to her?
