Before the helluva episodes drop tomorrow, I wanted to post another #wip sneak peek at my #radioapple pirate au fic.

Alastor likes to bait and tease Vox no matter what world they’re in, including on the high seas and I’ll stand by that.

Screenshot of first page of fic draft; “Instantly hating everything about the man before him, Alastor resolved to make his life as miserable as possible in whatever ways were afforded to him.
Straightening up a bit, he glared back, "Oh do pardon my manners.
My mother always taught me introductions were the most important part of any polite society. My name is Alastor, and you are?"
A smirk crossed the other man's face as replied, "Huh, you're a fiesty one. Lucky for you, I like that. I'm Vox, Captain Vox actually. And it seems you're on my ship without my permission. I suggest you start explaining yourself, and quickly before Valentino over there loses his patience." He nodded his head back over to the taller man, who grinned back, wagging his fingers in teasing way.

Screenshot of second page of draft fic text; “But despite his best instincts of self preservation, he would not cow to this obviously self-important man.
Not really considering his words first, he spat back, "Hmm, for someone who seems so possessive about a floating peice of wood, you seem awfully keen to pass off your dirty work."
This brought a sudden reddening to the other man's cheeks as the taunt seemed to hit home.
"You know, I think I've been pretty generous in not tossing you
overboard the moment I set eyes on you, you pathetic stow away.
Clearly you're a worthless peice of trash, so I'Il tell you what. I'm going to give you a choice, the same one I've given all my men. Join me and serve as we sail the seas or die. It's pretty simple, so don't spend too much time thinking about it."”

Screenshot of third page of draft fic text. “The humor that had before flecked the Captain's words was noticibly absent, the cold cruelty creeping back into those glaring eyes. He would kill Alastor and not give it a second thought. He needed to be careful, to buy himself more time.
"I work for no man and serve only myself!" He bluffed. "But if you kill me, how will you find the answers you seek?" He threw all his learned nuance into the statment. While he wasn't completely sure the context of what he'd overheard, he'd gleaned enough for a decent lie.
That seemed to get the Captain's attention.
"Oh? You think you have what I need?"”

Authors, I’m curious!

If you could describe your current WIP in just 3 words, what would they be?

Romance? Betrayal? Found family? I want to see what you're creating!

Drop your 3 words below!

Line art for D&D campaign characters that I plan to throw into Krita to colorize. These include a Half-Ogress Merchant, an Orc Zealot, a Human Psionic Professor, and a version of my OC Samara that became the Queen of the nation.

2 hours - 1,582 words. Right on target so far: 7K words right when I needed to be there to stay on schedule.

Crossed 110,000 words in the book total so far.

Excellent!

Stoning Day 4. Skirt back completed. Color looks weird because it’s a mesh skirt so I put parchment paper behind to prevent gluing the skirt to the leotard bottoms.
