King Itzamnaaj Bahlam III (also known as Shield Jaguar II) holds a burning torch, while his primary wife, Queen Lady K’ab’al Xook, kneels before him.Maya Huipil, a traditional hand-woven tunic from the Tzeltal Maya community of Tenejapa, Chiapas, Mexico. The top portion of the garment is heavily adorned with intricate, geometric brocade weaving. It features rows of black diamond shapes enclosing vibrant red fills. Tiny accents of bright yellow, neon blue, and pink are meticulously stitched inside and around the diamonds.

##workinprogress continues on the 22(! I wove a lot of rectangles😬) new scarves I made.

Finishing edges, then need yto weave in ends, wash, dry, label and then they'll be ready for listing.

On the left, a small clear tote of rolled scarves in various colors and sizes, on the right, a pile of scarves still needing edges finished, also in varying colors and sizes, on a white table. The colors run from black, white, cream, blue, green, pink, orange, grey, yellow, lavender, beige, purple, mauve to nearly every color mix in between. All handwoven, many using handdyed or handspun yarn or both in one. A mix of fibers as well.

『緑→青とデザフェスマップ』
昨日170cmまでの続きで今日205cmまで織って
遂に緑→青に糸が移りました

緑Verは縦糸の緩みなどがいつもより多く
(調整してるので織ったものに影響はないです)
なかなか苦戦させられた部分も多く
この原因として一番に考えられるのは
赤→緑に糸が変わった時に縦糸継ぎした方法が
従来と違ったために上手く巻き取れず
意図しない糸の緩みが出たのではないかと推測
それで結構時間とられた部分もあったので
