are there deltas in time-lines?

Sigma Omnicron Nu, this is #Delta Alpha Delta, come in.
Daaaad! I'm trying to sleep! And we don't have a shortwave radio. I can hear you breathing through the door!
Roger that. Sleep tight and don't let the scarabs bite!
That's Egyptian, dad, not Greek!
Buenos noches, amigo.

#skepticism seeped in at rapid speed
the #delta variant had turned deadly

as the world prepared
for the worst outbreak in recent history

"That's very clearly what's left of an ancient #delta."

"On Mars?"

"On Mars. And we're going to have water flowing there again."

Delta means change. Difference. It was with the greatest hope that Toni named her daughter #Delta. She hoped she change the world, but most of all, she knew she would change herself and Toni. #vss365 #microfiction #skywrite

Shepherding a gentleman more devoted to a sharp rowing finish than a sound Greats finish was tedious business, but a guinea is a guinea. If an aristocrat cared to empty his sovereign purse over a #delta son, I was quite willing to bleed that blood to nourish my own pocket-book.

The angel despairs as darkness eludes it, as the soul enters the delta of desires.

It seeks raw beauty in a remembered smile, where shadow now fades to a flickering spark.

It longs for moments of laughter and sunshine and carefully sands the path with wine.

this is true
it happened to me every time I crossed the bridge
We should all listen more to our gut instincts
If I had they might have found her sooner whether they thought I was crazy or not—the connection might have been made sooner

The #delta

Moving Day!! From one #delta to another: the Medway to the Bristol Channel. So today it is a very short memoir instead of a very short story #vss365 #vsm365

After I got busted
for my latest indiscretion
the mea culpa's gushed
in a flood of confessions
emptying a river of tears
into the muddied #delta
of guilt long suppressed

The clean up reclamation
of my reputation
will be quite extensive
and costly post crash

As processes go, it's a belter -
its progress is not helter-skelter;
a river will drop
deposits on top
of somewhere and look - there's a delta.

A Boston gal given to shiver
Was asked why she lived by the river
"This salty old #delta
Provides me good shelta."
But her husband could never forgive her
