Colombia defeat 10-women Nigeria 1-0 in the last minutes of stoppage time and march on to the semifinals where they'll meet the winner of Canada/North Korea!
Colombia: Valerin Loboa (90+2')
Chukwu gets the ball about 40 yards out, gets a nice turn and beats a defender, but her shot from distance is chimneyed.

VAR calling for review.
Offside player is not the goal scorer, but another player who disrupts a Canadian defender's ability to get to the ball.
I think right call. Header is made exactly where Chukwu would have been if not impeded.
Goal North Korea!
A free kick from wide is played to the middle of the box. For the first time, a Korean is the first to ball. Jong PokYong heads it in.
VAR checking for a possible offside. I think it might be offside.
For now, 1-0 to North Korea
Chance Canada!
They work the ball upfield and to the right. A cross finds Hernandez Gray, who touches it on toward goal, but it's right at Pak JuGyong, who initially bobbles but collects.
Canada having another one of those rare stretches of possession.

Crossbar North Korea!
Choe RimJong cuts in and rips a shot from just inside the box, it beats Henning but clangs the crossbar and out. A Korean attacker was first to the rebound, but she can't control her shot and absolute chimneys it.

Canada unlucky there. A long ball from Henning is headed on Kaylee Hunter and it finds Chukwu. Hunter has a good run and Chukwu will find her, but the catches Chukwu's hand in her control, and the handball kills the moment. Could have been the chance.

Canada continues to not make a mistake in defense. They're under pressure, and Korea have crafted good chances, but they've had to be inch perfect, and Henning's made her saves. Nothing's come easy for the Koreans, even as they dominate.
Two more subs for Canada.

Chance Korea!
A ball played wide left is sent right across the face of goal, but it doesn't get a touch until late, when a sliding Choe RimJong sends her touch well wide of target.

Per FIFA, North Korea have 12 corners and 18 attempts on goal. Canada have 0 corners and 1 attempt on goal.
For context on how the match has gone.
(Believe that's attempt 19 that just went well wide of goal.)

Canada started the half with some possession and minor pressure on the Koreans, but North Korea has begun to reassert control.

Not enough people are talking about how uncomfortable it's going to be when North Korea wins the Women's U20 WC and none of the players will be recruitable.

A big reason Canada haven't conceded is the play of Noelle Henning in net. Here was another nice save she made from a DPRK corner that got a very deft touch-on. Henning's reaction save puts the ball off the post and out.
Half time whistle is blown. North Korea created one last chance as a ball wide was played across goal, but the sliding Korean attacker couldn't get a touch.
Somehow, Canada survived that half without conceding.
