#SpoonieAuthChat If I wrote something, just assume that everyone is neurodivergent and queer unless specified, that will go faster.
#SpoonieAuthChat I do have Neurodivergent characters in my stories and books!
Not all of them are, but many are. I am some sort of ND for sure, so that ends up in my writing.
I also want to, in future writing, represent different types of ND (without tokenism, of course).
So, I don't deliberately set out to write neurodivergent characters, but they pop in on their own.
I guess "write what you know" has some truth to it. 😋

Hello #SpoonieAuthChat
Autistic (and possibly AuDHD) kobold here〜
That's me! I write mostly disaster and dystopian fiction. I'm super into research into neurodivergence and alternative (ND-friendly) educational styles. #SpoonieAuthChat
Oh, hello, autistic over here. *waves*
#SpoonieAuthChat
This ADHD/Bipolar brain lives in Oz and functions quite well thanks to meds - but my stress is currently through the roof
Limited writing time is my go to, too much and it can really bite me, but I'm hoping for some first draft energy in this re-do
ADHD and anxiety here. Managing both with medication, but some days it's a struggle
#spoonieauthchat
ADHD here, which should be obvious from the fact that I do almost all of my writing on my phone.
Multiply neurodivergent here! It's been such a relief to understand myself after so many yrs of flail.
Mainly anxiety and depression here, but I also kick up some AuDHD vibes so that's always interesting to consider.
As is "Neurofabulous," by the way. Definitely an interesting term! :)
Me, me, me! I’m ND! (Hey, that rhymes.)
Fun fact: The word neurofabulous is in the title of my memoirs-in-essays WIP!
I’m autistic and manage OCD! I think I have other neurofabulousness too!
I also like exclamation points!
