I don’t have many digital pics of #spiders, but I may share those I have during #Arachtober! If you suffer from arachnophobia and really can’t bear to look at 🕷️ just mute the hashtags. 🕸️

I know they're probably not terribly accurate, spider-wise. The references I used sometimes had parts out of focus, so I did my best.

Some unusual behaviour from the giant house #spiders sitcom today.

Yesterday the large male seemed to try to mate with the large female. She was upset and pooed a lot.

Today the two females are huddled together in the rag ladder, no murdering yet. I can't find any research on sapphic spiders. :V

I think we've upset the local slug population 🫤

They were messing with our milk bottle holder yesterday and changed today's order indicator from 3 bottles to 2 😂

There does seems to be a lot around this year though. And Spiders. Cobwebs everywhere 🙂🤷‍♂️

If anybody is able to identify this species of tarantula, I would be extremely grateful. Found in Danum Valley, Sabah, Borneo, I've been told its a purple earth tiger but also a Sabah blue tarantula. Is it either of these??
