And Freddy puts up another 4-2 #seakraken I'm thinking vodka + a canned mixer I have in the fridge. I suddenly don't want to spend much time on this project.

@circlingseasports.bsky.socialKRAKEN GOAL, THE MARVELOUS MACKIE GIVES SEATTLE THE LEAD!
After that second Detroit goal, Seattle has shown some punch. Mackie Samoskevich scores off a Jared McCann assist to get the lead.
@seattlekraken.com 3 - 2 Detroit Red Wings
13:01 left in P2
@zesmerelda.bsky.socialStep away to prep dinner & everyone incremented. Dang. I'd better mix cocktails! And then Mackie kicks it up, 3-2 #seakraken.
@cheapseatssports.bsky.social4th line quick response! Good forecheck from Freddy and Meyers and Freddy is able to lift a shot in front of the net into it! #SeaKraken 2-2 in spite of being out shot 7-24
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialWilliam Wallinder scores his first career NHL goal from distance. Grubauer was bumped a little and the #SeaKraken coaching staff looked like they considered a goaltender interference challenge, but let it be (they wouldn't have won).
@circlingseasports.bsky.socialKRAKEN GOAL, FREDDY FINDS AN ANSWER! 39 seconds after the Detroit goal, Freddy Gaudreau responds with a goal as Ryan Winterton finds him right in front of Gibson.
Sure. Why not.
@seattlekraken.com 2 - 2 Detroit Red Wings
15:21 left in P2
@jhackmeister.bsky.socialWe love a response goal!! #SeaKraken
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialFreddie G gets the goal back, even at 2 now!#SeaKraken
@circlingseasports.bsky.socialFour minutes into the second period, Detroit adds a second goal as William Wallinder is credited with a goal that tucks itself in the top corner.
Seattle now being outshot 6-23...
@seattlekraken.com 1 - 2 Detroit Red Wings
16 minutes left in P2
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialOoof
Red Wings find the net again (a rookies 1st goal so that's nice for him)
#SeaKraken 1
Detroit 2
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialThe #SeaKraken get to start the period tied because of Grubauer, so this game is for the taking as the second period gets
under
way!
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialAfter one, the #SeaKraken are tied at one.
Philipp Grubauer is the only reason why this game isn't already out of hand. He's been under siege and has had to made several very difficult saves. Berkly Catton continues to impress with a sick move on the tying goal.
1-1
1st int.
@cheapseatssports.bsky.socialNot a great first period from the #SeaKraken, but after 1 it's tied where it matters 1-1
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialTied 1 all at 1st intermission
How we feelin #SeaKraken fam?
I'd like to see us more aggressive (in a good way), make more chances & take more shots...
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialThe #SeaKraken power play ends just 19 seconds in when Chandler Stephenson trips Andrew Copp, so we'll play 4-on-4 for 1:41 followed by a brief Red Wings power play.
@nhlgoals.bsky.socialSeattle goal!
Scored by Berkly Catton with 05:08 left in the 1st. Assisted by Kaapo Kakko and Josh Mahura.
DET: 1 | SEA: 1
@atinnag.bsky.socialStevie, why? #SeaKraken
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialMichael Brandsegg-Nygård saw Jordan Eberle's slashing penalty earlier and felt jealous so he went slashing on his own.
Copycat.
#SeaKraken to the power play.
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialThe #SeaKraken CATch up!
Berkly Catton says "I'll tie the game up right meow" after a great feed by Kaapo Kakko and despite a terrible start to the game, the Kraken have tied it!
