The part about the Gospels being written from different points of view stood out to me. Even when people are writing about the same event, their perspectives and what they choose to focus on creates different versions. #realityhunger

This read, I feel, was more intuitive. And took some time to really take in and digest. But so far it was my favorite one yet, and I will defintely be reading more of the chapters. #realityhunger

These quotes make me think that Shields is questioning whether anything is ever completely original. People have always borrowed ideas from before them, so creativity may be less about inventing something and more about reshaping what already exists. #realityhunger

And there are definitely things that I would argue hard for that others may not agree with. With that, I feel that reality is individual. We each have our own systems and experiences that have shaped what we each individually deem as true, real, and fact. #realityhunger

The quote about the bachelor telling us more about romance than any rom com could is funny because I believe that perfect rom com relationships are so far from the truth, and the fighting and issues in the Bachelor (which is one of my favorite parts) is much more relatable. #realityhunger

What stood out to me is that all artists are working in different forms and are not really connected but they all have the same interest of bringing reality into their work #realityhunger

The reading has broadened my perspective on memories, and how each individual experience we possess of a memory can be altered based on how our emotions towards it change as life goes on, and I think that is very special when it comes to growth as an individual #realityhunger

There is a lot of truth went it stated that a memory is the part rewritten in the direction of feeling because based on our own experiences and emotions on a memory alters how we see it for the rest of our lives, good or bad #realityhunger

I really like this line because how we choose to tell a story in our own way and how it is presented to others gives them an insight and creates some sort of connection #realityhunger

"Attention equals life or is its only evidence" is such a powerful statement to make because it really captures the capability we all possess as people and that we can choose what to give our attention to, we love to see it #realityhunger

I wonder if this "are our memories fiction" question can be connected in any way to repressed memories. Or when your family tells you about an event and you don't remember it, but you can remember things from before. Like what constitutes something to being remembered or not. #realityhunger

I like this example because it shows that the effort put into making the movie is real, the shots being filmed are real, what's it to them to think that it is not "real" in their opinion? #realityhunger
