They may still be a long ways from a finished product, but it’s safe to say the new-look #NHLJets made a mostly favourable first impression on Friday in front of a sold-out home crowd.

- I was entertained.
- Could you imagine wanting to trade Kyle Connor off this team? I couldn't. Just silly thinking if you do.
- Viggo looked good out there. I had to remind myself he's 18 and playing his first game.
- PP looks improved.
- Zone exits still an issue.

Disappointing finish to that game, one that the #nhljets outplayed the Bruins in. Hopefully that kind of result doesn't become a recurring theme but it's game 1 of 84.

This has been a terrific, entertaining game.

I'm pretty confident in saying that, if nothing else, the #NHLJets will be a lot more entertaining to watch this season compared to last.
