Despite having the Alonso and all his HR and RBI, the Orioles finished the season the same way the Mets did—in last place. I miss Pete, but I’m much more concerned about who will play first for us in 2027 than about whatever he says or does. #LGM

Sometimes players come up and severely underperform their minor league stats—we’ve seen it with Baty, Vientos, Mauricio. Sometimes they outperform—we’ve seen it with Thornton and Tong (especially September Tong). Rojas, Voit, Pitre, Amick and Santucci—which way will they go? #LGM #MetsSky

Let’s flip the script and go 88-74 next year. With a few good moves by the FO, and Soto and Lindor getting back to their usual level of play, it should be possible. #LGM #MetsSky

Big questions for me: with Mets needing a first baseman and having a logjam at 3rd, do they transition Billy Amick and/or Jacob Reimer to 1st? If Bichette stays, do they move Rojas and/or Voit to 2B? Seems like both (and Pitre) are candidates to replace Semien. #LGM

Good morning Charley and #MetsSky. I have very little to offer but I get back so much. I read and learn from all the posts. Adds so much to the enjoyment and helps to ease the pain that comes with being a Mets fan. #LGM

Good morning #MetsSky & welcome to the off-season. Early questions include Bichette in or out, coaching changes?, who's getting non-tendered or DFA'D, & of course will there be a lockout? Looking forward to a few months of good conversations & bad rumors. Buckle up. The winter ride begins. #LGM
