The #Bears offense are just taking whatever 1st downs they want at this point. The #Jets defense is getting tired from being out there for way too long. 🐻⬇️

END OF 3Q: #Bears 20, #Jets 6

Chicago in full control now. Offense has 380 yards of offense compared to New York's 85.

Luther Burden takes the handoff for ANOTHER first down to end the 3rd quarter!

A play after #Jets Geno Smith hurts his right hand, he throws an incompletion on third down. He had his right arm down and shook his hand a bit as he went to the sideline.

The Santos XP is good and the lead is now up to 14!

FIELD GOAL: #Jets knock in a 30-yard field goal after faking a fourth-down attempt. #Bears now lead 13-6 with 7:00 left in the 3Q.

Both of New York's field goals have come off Chicago turnovers.

The Jason Sanders field goal is good and the lead has been cut to 7!

The #Bears defense doesn't bite on Geno's cadence. The #Jets took their 4th delay of game penalty for the field goal attempt.

FUMBLE: #Bears D'Andre Swift fumbles the ball and the #Jets recover at Chicago's 28. Biggest test of the day for Chicago's defense coming up.

So the #Jets are winning but it’s entirely due the PP. Their 5 on 5 game has not been good. The 4th line and Rosen are a total drag on the team.

The #Jets now have 3 delay of game penalties.

#Bears Devin Bush goes unblocked as he sacks #Jets QB Geno Smith on third down. That comes a couple plays after a big tackle for loss from Tyrique Stevenson.

Chicago's defense is feeling it today.

My beloved New York Jets finally got an interception, their first since 2024 (longest drought in NFL history).
Sadly, it's the only bright spot in this first half against the Chicago Bears.

Biggs: Some halftime numbers

#Bears 49 offensive plays, 17 first downs, 21 minutes, 54 seconds time of possession

#Jets 16 offensive plays, 2 first downs, 8:06 TOP

The score is closer than it should be.

HALFTIME: #Bears 13, #Jets 3

Cairo Santos made a 30-yard field goal as time expired.

Feels like a game the Bears should be dominating more. Chicago has 274 yards on offense compared to New York's 34 (!!). Bears are one for four in the red zone.
