#Gibraltar - latest radar at 2:20pm, 04/10 - finally those heavier showers have beaten the Levante force field - a peak rate of 24.6mm/hr just registered at Devil's Tower Road. 🌧

#Gibraltar - 04/10 - a very gloomy view from #QueenswayQuay says it all this morning, photo thanks to MeteoGib follower Brenda Ocana, with a few light showers but some heavier ones waiting in the wings, meanwhile some thunderstorms over Malaga way (see latest radar) - at 12:30pm, the temp is 23C.

#Gibraltar - latest radar at 11:15am, 04/10 - those Moroccan showers are now starting to edge North across the Strait, so we're not out of the woods yet and this still needs watching - meanwhile more convective showers are breaking out across parts of #Malaga.

A Yellow Heavy Rain + Thunderstorm Advisory has been issued for the Sol y Guadalhorce + Axarquia areas of #Malaga - valid until 5pm today, with a risk of 15mm in an hr.

#Gibraltar - latest radar at 9:30am, 04/10 - we've been catching a few light showers over the Rock, but with those heavier Moroccan showers to our South still struggling at the moment to get to us across the Strait - due to the Levante or the colder waters in the Strait area - but one to watch. 👀

#Gibraltar - latest radar at 8:30am, 04/10 - those showers have pepped up over Morocco and now just creeping N into the Strait - moving ENE - #OneToWatch in case we catch something heavier (a rumble of thunder) 👀

#Gibraltar - latest radar at 8am, 04/10 - shows those showers pushing NE as forecast yesterday - some of them currently weakening as they cross the Strait and hit that Levanter, with a light shower now across the Rock, while a possible thunderstorm at the moment to the WSW of Tangier.

#Gibraltar - 6am, 04/10 - early October and we continue with the warm Tropical nights and a mostly cloudy and muggy night of Levante, with the odd light shower early on, and a few showers now showing up on the radar again close by and also across Morocco - the temperature is 22C and humidity at 94%.

The Met Office model has proved most accurate for the last two days in dumbing down the shower activity across the local area - but suggests a greater risk tonight & Sunday, that some could push N, perhaps a risk of thunder. 👇 👀

#Gibraltar - 03/10 - a view of the Rock from #LaLinea this lunchtime, on a mostly cloudy, grey and muggy day of Levante with some misty low cloud at times, but mainly dry after a sprinkle of light rain overnight. Moderate Easterly breezes with choppier seas along the East side. Max 23.8C.
